Il Molino Farm which has belonged to the Sciuga family for generations is built around the 18th century farmhouse that represents the heart of the property. Located on the hills of the charming upper Lazio region between Montefiascone and the Bolsena Lake it spans approximately 250 hectares and is run in compliance with organic farming standards. Only olives produced on the property are pressed at the farm's mill.This oil is obtained from pressing the pulp from the variety of olive known as frantoio after the the olives have been pitted or "destoned" adding a new demension to the oil making process. It is a delicate oil faintly fruity and suitable for all kinds of dishes. It is golden yellow dense and clear with an initial fragrance of citrus followed by herbs and then green tomatoes.
